The Pilot Sinking Pencil 77S is a long-cast sinking pencil built for steady, reliable days on the water. A tungsten weight-transfer system shifts mass forward on the cast, so it flies flat and reaches the far banks and points other lures can't.
Why we tie it on: cast far, let it sink, then twitch-and-pause. The wounded-bait dart on the pause triggers reaction bites from bass, pike and redfish. 7.7cm body, sharp 8# treble, slow-sinking retrieve.
How to fish it
Cast out and let it sink to your target depth.
Twitch the rod tip 2-3 times, then pause - the side-to-side dart happens on the pause.
Great for suspended bass, along weed edges and around structure.
