When bass are suspended and staring down baitfish without committing, this is the jerkbait we tie on. It hangs dead in the strike zone after every twitch — the pause that turns lookers into biters.
An internal magnetic weight-transfer system loads the tail on the cast for long, easy throws, then settles the bait into a slow, level suspend at your depth. It darts side to side on the twitch and freezes on the pause, with a holographic foil body that flashes like a wounded baitfish and sharp, corrosion-resistant trebles.
Why it’s a daily driver
- Magnetic weight transfer — internal balls shift to the tail for noticeably longer casts.
- True suspending action — hangs motionless after each twitch; the dead-stop pause triggers reluctant fish.
- Sharp treble hooks — honed points mean fewer missed strikes and more fish in the net.
- Holographic foil body — 360° flash that works in clear and stained water.
How to work it
- Tie direct with a Palomar or improved clinch knot.
- Best year-round — especially cold water in spring and fall and tough post-front days.
- Retrieve twitch-twitch-pause; let it hang 2–4 seconds and vary the cadence.
- Work points, rock piles, grass edges, dock pilings, and channel breaks.
